A conversation starts with a character
Choose someone from the catalogue, read their opening message and decide what happens next. With OurDream, you can continue a fictional conversation, define an original companion or turn a scene into an image or short video. We provide these tools for adults 18 and over. Every profile is an AI character, even when its portrait looks photographic.
Find the kind of story you want to tell
A portrait sets the look; the introduction sets the conversation. Browse realistic or anime characters, then look for a situation that gives you something to say. You might want an AI girlfriend or boyfriend for an ongoing fictional relationship, a companion for everyday conversation, or a cast for a fantasy RPG.
Answer the opening rather than writing the whole plot at once. Try: “The bookshop is about to close, and I'm looking for a gift. Ask who it's for before suggesting a book.” That gives the character a place, a task and a reason to respond. Our conversation examples show how to adjust dialogue, narration and reply length.
Give an original companion a voice and a purpose
Use Create when you have a particular character in mind. Choose the supported appearance options, then write the personality, background, scenario and greeting. A useful definition explains behaviour: a reserved astronomer might check a detail before answering and become more animated when discussing the night sky.
Try a few exchanges before publishing. Does the greeting invite a reply? Does the character follow the role you wrote? Decide whether the profile should be private, unlisted or public; public submissions require review. Start with the character builder, or use our group chat instructions when a scene needs several speakers.
Take a scene beyond text
For an image, tell us what is in the frame: an original adult character, their clothing, the location, light and viewpoint. For video, add one visible movement and a camera direction. A character looking up from a book is a more manageable short clip than several events in different rooms.
Our image generator, video tools and voice features have separate controls and charges. Image and video generation need an active subscription. Before submitting, inspect the model, output quantity, duration and total shown. Unlocking an existing community pack is a different action from generating a new result.
Know what your plan includes
Looking through the catalogue does not require a subscription. Sending replies without one can use an available Dream Coin balance; it is not unlimited free chat. Paid membership also does not turn every premium model or media request into an uncharged action.

Estimate by activity, not just by balance. A standard five-second video is listed at 100 coins, while an in-chat image is listed at 5; other settings can change the charge. Keep the same account on your phone
Open OurDream in a desktop or mobile browser and use the sign-in method attached to your account. For a home-screen shortcut, use Safari's Share menu on iPhone or Chrome's menu on Android. We currently offer browser access, not a native App Store or Google Play download. Our phone setup instructions explain what the shortcut does.
A missing sign-in email and a missing subscription are different problems. Check the email spelling and spam folder for the first; verify the paid account and try subscription sync for the second. Use account and generation checks before repeating a payment or a request that may already be processing.
Choose what you share and what you keep
Your private conversation is not available to another user simply because they created its character. Pictures made with a public character can, however, appear in that character's community pack. Private and unlisted profiles have different sharing conditions. Review chat and media visibility before using a profile for something personal.
Service and model providers process information to operate the tools. Keep login credentials, payment details and identity documents out of conversations. Our age, consent and likeness requirements apply to adult material too. Use account support for an access or billing issue, and reporting controls for a content concern. If you want to leave, stopping renewal, requesting a refund and deleting the account are distinct choices.

What can I do with OurDream AI?
You can talk with fictional characters, build an original profile and use the available image, video and voice tools. We keep character definitions and their opening situations separate from your messages, so you can choose an existing story or start your own.
How does an OurDream conversation begin?
Pick a profile and read its greeting. Sign in if the conversation asks you to, then respond with one question or a small action. You do not need a complete storyline. See starting a first conversation for a short walkthrough.
Can I use OurDream AI without paying?
Catalogue browsing is available before subscribing. Non-subscriber replies can spend coins from an available balance, and image or video generation requires active membership. An account or a reward does not provide unlimited free use. Check the access conditions for the action you want.
What is the monthly or yearly subscription price?
Standard costs $19.99 USD per month, or $119.88 paid once a year. The annual rate works out to $9.99 a month but is charged upfront. It also starts with a one-time coin bonus. Deluxe is a separate selection. Our plan comparison separates the payment schedule from monthly coin deposits.
Do I still spend Dream Coins with a subscription?
Yes, for eligible media and premium chat actions. Standard subscriber text access does not include every model without a coin charge. For example, Genius and Lively Genius replies are listed at 1 coin. Review the selected tool and our coin-cost examples before confirming.
Where can I check a promo code or referral?
Read the offer attached to your account and selected plan. Verify the qualifying action and benefit before completing checkout; an introductory plan bonus, referral reward and discount are not interchangeable. Our offer checks also cover rejected codes and missing rewards.
How do I make my own AI companion?
Open Create, set an original adult character's appearance and describe their behaviour, background and first scene. Write a greeting that leaves you something to answer, then test it before choosing visibility. Follow the custom-character steps for an example.
How do I choose the next speaker in a group chat?
Select the participant's portrait, or type @ and choose them, before sending. Give that character a specific question and keep the shared location clear. The group conversation guide includes a multi-character opening.
Can I turn a character scene into pictures or video?
Use the supported image or video workflow with an active subscription and the required allowance. Describe one coherent scene, then inspect the quantity, model, quality and duration. The charge shown for that selection matters more than an example rate.
Is there an OurDream app for Android or iPhone?
Our current mobile experience runs in your browser. You can add a home-screen shortcut without a separate store download or APK. It still needs an internet connection and your existing account. Use the iPhone and Android instructions for setup.
Who can see my chats and generated images?
A character creator does not gain access to your private chat. Media made with a public character may join its public community pack, which is a different visibility rule. Service processing is separate from what other users see. Read the visibility details before sharing.
Does adult access remove content restrictions?
No. Users must be 18 or older, and characters and requests must meet age, consent, likeness and other content requirements. Use original fictional adults and the designated review or reporting process for a concern. Our content rules explain the distinctions.
What should I check when OurDream is not responding?
Start with the exact notice, sign-in state and relevant balance or subscription. A stalled reply, a moderation notice and a payment still processing need different responses. Follow the troubleshooting steps and keep the time and error wording if you contact us.
How are cancellation and account deletion different?
Cancellation stops the next subscription renewal once confirmed. Deletion permanently removes the account and its associated content and unused coins; it also cancels an active subscription when completed. Neither is an automatic payment refund. Read renewal controls and deletion details before proceeding.
How can I decide whether OurDream fits my routine?
